Brain Tumors/encapsulated grade IV glioblastoma

Question
My uncle, this past week, had surgery to remove grade IV glioblastoma located in the right parietal lobe. The surgeon says it was encapsulated and he believes he got it all. What is the likelihood of this, since it is stage IV? If he was able to remove everything, I know there is still a high reccurence rate, so what are the long term survival rates?

Answer
Based on hard and sad experience I doubt that all has been removed unfortunately. Even with radiation & chemo therapy after surgery I believe that his survival time will at most not be much greater than around one to one and a half year unfortunately. But it may be much shorter.
I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
