Question
Hi my name is Bryce Torrie I am 22yrs old  I have a Gr3 Annaplastic miligment  brain tumor it is now after surgery chemo and radiation taking up 3/4ths of the left side of head.. I have asked doctors plenty of questions but they always just try to give positive answers when i feel im old enough and deserve to hear my chances and how long i would have left to live should i live differently

Answer
A straight question deserves a straight answer even if it only contains bad news. Most malignant brain tumors have a bad prognosis. They are graded from 1 to 4 where those with a 1 survive longest (many years) and those with a 4 shortest (around 1 year at most usually). This is after surgery, radiation therapy and chemo therapy. Such therapy can only prolong survival somewhat, not cure (yet). I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
