I have been experiencing headaches since the early partof December that are quite severe at times and cause nausea and  vomiting and blurry vision and also had lost of sight in one eye that came back after half anhour. My doctor sent me to an eye specialist cause he thought it was  temporal arteritis the doc said he was not convinced and am being sent for an mri next week finally after almost 2 months of theses symptoms. now my family doc says its possible it could be a brain tumour.  I see a neuroligist this week coming. Do you have any thoughts or ideas of what it could be? Also a bit of info since headaches started my sed rate has been high 92 also some other test not sure of name something regard immune system has been high also. I have been on prednisone 5 mg  three times a day for a week then was twice a day for week and now past month has been once a day. Also since being on prednisone i have high blood pressure and am on 2 meds for that norvasc 5mg and conversyl plus 5 mg.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It is possible! But I can not tell you anything more due to lack of information. The MRI scan coming up will however with certainty tell us if there is such a tumor or not! The high sedimentation rate however may indicate an infection or inflammation. So that would have fitted with a temporal arthritis. The blood pressure etc. may be side effects of your prednisone!
