Question
My 39 yr old female cousin with Grade 4 brain tumors, has had radiosurgery,
radiation, chemo.  Who or where is the absolutely best treatment available?  She
has been treated at Shands in Florida so far.  We are looking for the best of the
best hope there is.  We are at the end of options, also looking at any clinical
trials.  Any advice?

I'm sorry to disappoint you but grade 4 malignant brain tumors have the same disappointing treatment results everywhere all over the World without exception and it has been the same for at least the last 30 years. No real change has happened and none is expected at least not in the near future. I'm a Swede living in Sweden and the situation is exactly the same here and in the rest of Europe as in all of North America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Singapore and Japan if you want to compare with other places with a developed health care. So there is no such place that I can suggest. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
