Brain Tumors/Multiple white masses on my wifes brain

Question
My wife had an MRI done 2 days ago, that revealed multiple white masses all over her brain.  She has Chiari Malformation and my question is can Chiari cause cancer in the brain, the doctor also mentioned that it could be a stroke. Could this have been caused by the Chiari?

This is a question for a diagnostic neuroradiologist with a wide experience in MRI scanning. I'm a medical oncologist and radiation therapist with experience of treatment of brain tumors. So this is obviously outside my field of expertise here. Chiari does NOT cause brain tumors! All the rest should be addressed to such a diagnostic neuroradiologist!
