Question
My girl friend has a 45mm X 55mm glioblastoma multiforme she cant have surgery because of neuroolgical damage and she cant get any more radiation (she had another tumor removed 10 years ago from the brain and cant get any more.) So what cant I now expect from all this, I've done allot of on-line reserch about GBM's and its not good so please explan to me whats going to happen? thanks Mathew

Answer
I'm sorry to hear about her and your problems! Yes her prognosis is extremely bad unfortunately. Maximum survival time without treatment around 1 to 1.5 years or so. She will become more and more confused, may show stroke like symptoms, even epileptic fits. She will sleep more and more, drift into a coma and then pass away. There will be very little pain if indeed any. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
