Question
my mother has stage 4 brain tumor in her left side. They found out with the seizures. She is 47 and she had 2 surgeries. She had radiotherapy and she is taking the round of chemo.they could not remove all of it because it is so aggresive. it has been 14 months now and after the second surgery she started to get so confused and agressive. we have a speech problem planning and her right hand and leg is numb. and it is getting worse. Now while she is taking chemo she goes to the hospital at least twice a week because of the brain sweelling. we cannot stop her pain even with hydromorphines.my question is what is going to happen next? how long does she have? she sleeps alot , is she going to sleep more and feel tired? thank you so much. God bless.

Answer
Unfortunately she will become more and more confused, may develop stroke like symptoms and even epileptic fits, sh will sleep more and more, then drift into a coma and then pass away! Her remaining time most probably can be measured in months rather than years. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
