Question
QUESTION: I had an MRI done last Thur and they found a white mass on the left side of my brain. What could it be? I see a Diff. kind of Dr. Tue. Thanks.

ANSWER: The most probable cause is some kind of brain tumor. Your question does not give me enough detailed information to be able to evaluate what kind of brain tumor it may be. Are you going to see a neurosurgeon?

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Yes I will be seeing an neurologist On Tuesday. My Ear Physician had me do the MIR. First he thought I had A tumor. After the MRI he told me good news. "You don't have a tumor but there is a white mass on the left side of your brain. I don't no what it is, because I am not that kind of Dr. So I have set you up an appointment with an Neurologist on Tuesday the 18th" He also said he didn't think it was to mush to worry about, but it shouldn't be taken Lightly That is as all I know. I went to the ear Dr. because I have lost hearing in right ear. left ear is draining all the time and something is running down the back of my neck.

Answer
Oh, then there may be many possibilities. I was for a while thinking of a neurinoma of your hearing nerve but that is something your ear dr. should know about so that can probably be excluded. Please let me know what your neurologist thinks after your visit there!
