Brain Tumors/Stabbing Headache

Question
I am 15 years in remission from Hodgkin's Disease, I was treated with both radiation and chemotherapy. i have been experiencing a "stabbing" headache on the right side of my head just below my ear. Initially, I was told that it may be a pinched nerve. I was given a muscle relaxer and pain medication, noting makes this headache go away. it is quite painful in the am and does disparate by the time I go to sleep. I am having a hard time working and concentrating due to the pain. my Dr has finally received my medical records relating to my radiation treatment and has scheduled a CT scan for tomorrow. I am anticipating bad news. Could the initial radiation that I received in 1992 gave cased a tumor in the lower part of my brain. I know the area was radiated as I had a severe burn and my hair never grew back. Just looking for an opinion.
thanks.

Answer
An MRI scan may also be necessary! I doubt that it is a tumor that causes this, but we will hopefully know what it is that you have when we have the results - hopefully soon. How long have you had these symptoms? If for a long time then your tumor theory becomes more improbable. We will have to wait for your results. Please do keep me posted!
