Question
My daughter, age 12, has scoliosis with NF1, and now she has been diagnosed Cystic Mass too. Has NF1 been related to Cystic Mass, and how to treat this?

MRI Result:
"Cystic Mass" on parahipokampus and the right posn
Right Kista Thalamus
Lesi on the left basal ganglia -> DD/Iskemik?

Thks for your attention

Answer
Probably not. But your question should be directed to a neurosurgeon which I am not. I'm a medical oncologist & radiation therapist with experience of treating brain tumors. In this case any action is most probably surgical so you should ask an expert of neurosurgery.
