Question
Hi my friends god daughter has recently been in hospital and today received the results that she has got astroblastoma grade four. Bethany is only 12 years old and I would like some information regarding this as there has only been a handful of cases in the uk.

These tumours are rare and experience therefore limited. Since this is a high grade tumour her prognosis is unfortunately quite uncertain. In these cases a combination of surgery, radiation therapy and even chemo therapy is recommended but unfortunately it is not possible to guarantee any success even with such a combination. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
