Question
Could you please interpret my mri findings, I am a disabled vet and have a very hard time getting answers from the V.A. Hospital.    Findings:  Diffusion portion of the exam is within normal limits. There is no evidence for an acute stroke. Ventricular system is within normal limits. There is no shift of the midline.  No extracerebral collections are identified. The posterior fossa is intact. On FLAIR imaging there are two small focal areal of subcortical increased signal intensity change in the left frontal region. No other areas of abnormal deep white matter changes are seen on this examination.  The remainder of the MR scan of the brain is within normal limits.

Just to give you some background on my health issues;  hashimotos thyroiditis, chronic fatigue syndrom, currently the toes and fingers on my right side are numb.  I was a machinist in the military and worked with electro-plating chemicals prior to OSHA requiring air masks.

Answer
Well, I'm a medical oncologist and radiation therapist with experience of treating brain tumors, NOT a neurologist or a diagnostic neuroradiologist which you have to be in order to answer your question well! Furthermore there are no real indications here that this is a brain tumor case. So it is completely outside my area of expertise. I therefore strongly suggest that you direct this question to any of those 2 kinds of experts! Good luck!
