Topic: Brain Tumors

Expert: Claes-Gustaf Nordquist, M.D.
Date: 7/4/2008
Subject: mother with brain mass (7) in total

Question
If my mother has just now found out about her masses thanks to a horse injury, could it be caused from that or is this something that she was developing over the years, also is this something that I could get and should her doctors be looking  into this just a bit more then what they do. The found them and that is the only time they looked at them, should she find someone else to look at this?

Answer
I doubt very much that 7 brain masses are caused by any accident with a horse (if they were bleedings that would already be known). So this is something else. Without knowing EXACTLY what her CT AND MRI scans showed it is impossible for me to tell you more. It needs to be investigated!
