Brain Tumors/Metastasized Breast Cancer - End Game?

Question
My wife, age 60, was diagnosed with breast cancer about two years ago.  It had spread to the bones and she has since been treated with Herceptin. In May, she was diagnosed with two metastases in the front lobes of the brain. This was treated with Whole Brain Radiation in June. She is having good and bad days, often tired and complains of feel sick to her stomach.

We both know that this is the endgame, but no one tells us what to expect. Can you describe what typically happens in the later stages as the cancer progresses.  Also, it would be helpful to have some sort of time horizon.

Thank you very much for your help.

Answer
I'm sorry to read about her and your problems! Survival time - always uncertain - can probably be measured in months. She may show stroke like symptoms and even epileptic fits. She will start sleeping more and more eventually drift into a coma and then pass away. There will be little pain (except from her bones) if any. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
