Question
Hi,
I've recently noticed that I have a couple of lumps in the back of my head near the base; one on either side of the end of my spine. One of them has some red discoloration around it like broken blood vessels and that one hurts a little. I've noticed that I can slowly push the other one back into my skull a little bit and make it smaller. I also sometimes get really bad headaches and some of them seem to radiate from that area. I've always thought that they were tension headaches, but now I am not so sure. I feel really spacey lately too. Am I in trouble? I don't have any health insurance and I'm a little freaked out.

From your description it seems that they are - or that at least one of them is - (a) local infection(s)/inflammation(s) in your skin. Whatever they are they have nothing to do with brain tumors. So your headaches may very well be caused by tension. Anyway let a dr. check them. No extensive and expensive investigations are probably necessary. Good luck!
