Question
QUESTION: After a bad head injury in 2000 I started having seizures, after doing some EEGs and a cat scan they decided I was epileptic and discovered I had a Cyst below the area of the injury! I have always had problems with reading and if I move my fingers on one hand the fingers on the other hand move at the same time! could either or both of these problems be attributed to the Cyst and if so should I have anything done about it?

ANSWER: I'm a medical oncologist and radiation therapist with experience in treating brain tumors, NOT a neurologist or a neurosurgeon. Your question should best be directed to an expert of neurology - or maybe to one of neurosurgery or even both.

QUESTION: i asked this and they had lost all of my results!!! and gave me a very wishy washy answer, I was in a very good job 8 years ago and have lost all that! i have seen a neurologist and he was the one who had lost them! so I'm puzzled where to go from here, I cannot change doctors and my doctor although a nice bloke is about as much use as a crack in a glass eye, do I wait until it's too late!!!!
Can you give me a name or number to contact
Regards
Doug

Answer
Sir, I'm a Swede living in Sweden. I'm retired since almost 6 years after a stroke that left me partly paralyzed in my left side due to high blood pressure (now under control) and am right now myself undergoing treatment for prostate cancer. I have no idea where you live and even if I did know it is most improbable that I would have any useful contacts available for you. However it is the OBLIGATION of the "nice bloke" of a dr. you have got to refer you to other specialists on matters he can not take care of himself! DEMAND IT!
