Question
QUESTION: I want to know what treatment can be given to a child of 3 months who has had the surgery to remove the tumor, 70 percent had a stroke, has some sucking ability, can she see or hear and how long can she live without treament? they say the radiation will kill her brain cells so what can be done??

ANSWER: Dear Catherine, to evaluate this I need a LOT more information. What kind of tumor? Its grade? Exact location & size? If possible the complete clinical picture before & after surgery and the surgery report?! Otherwise it would be too much guess work.

QUESTION: glioblastoma multiforme is the tumor its a grade 4 was in the front of her forehead and 70 percent removed 2 inches in size. she is only 3 months old had a right sided stroke during the surgery. Is it possible for her to see or hear ?she doesnt move her head no eye movement Have you every had anyone recover from this?

Answer
Just by knowing the diagnosis, glioblastoma multiforme grade 4 I have unfortunately to tell you that no recovery, cure or survival is possible regardless of whatever treatment is used. Her survival time can AT MOST be measured in months. Probably less. I'm very sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
