Question
my granddaughter is 3 months old & had 80% of this tumor removed 2 weeks ago, the size is 2" in the front lobe.  she had a stroke, it appears maybe she can not hear or see. She does not swallow well, has a feeding tube down her nose, everyday she has to learn how to suck her  pacifier again. please tell me what you can about this horrble tumor. and what the outlook is. Thank you for your time.

Answer
I answered a more or less identical question earlier today. Same patient? All glioblastoma multiforme GRADE 4 tumors (brain tumors almost never have stages only grades) have an extremely bad prognosis unfortunately. In short they are not curable and always fatal in spite of whatever treatment. Survival times are also short. I'm very sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
