hi i just fount out that my 46 years old sister have a brain tumer a size 1.7 cm on the left side of her brain from the back of her head the DR said that its the size of a quater , i like to know if it dangeres, the symptoms are migrant headach, nausea , vominting balance probleme numbness in her left side of the body some vision probleme,plz i need anser.thanks


Answer
Depends on what KIND of tumor it is. If benign it is probably not dangerous and its size would in that case permit radiological non surgical treatment with the so called GammaKnife. However, if malignant (cancerous) her situation is very serious! Only her dr. may know if it is malignant or benign, but may not yet have that information.
