Question
I am having tests for a pituitary brain macroadenoma or cyst - they are not sure which it is as yet - I have critical illness cover but do you know from history of these tumours/cysts if i can claim for this as I am not sure if it is thought serious enough to warrant a claim.

Answer
Dear Lulu, I'm a Swede, a Swedish medical doctor living in Sweden. So I have no idea how your insurance operates on this matter. But pituitary tumors CAN indeed have serious consequences and surgery etc. there is also a serious business. However discuss this with an American expert here. I'm not the right person for this. Good luck!
