Question
I had a mengioma removed in april of 02, it was on the right side of my head and ear. I had the tumor removed as well as my ear drum. Eight months later it cam back so I had ratiation. since 04 I had been feeling pretty good but in March of 07 I had my first sisure in three years I have been having very bad pain in my head and ear.I had an MRI done and it is showing a build up of scare tissue, could this be causing all of my pain.

Answer
I'm a medical oncologist & radiation therapist with experience of treating (mainly malignant/cancerous) brain tumors but I'm not a neurosurgeon. Meningiomas are mainly treated surgically and are usually benign. Radiation therapy usually plays a rather minor role in their treatment. So I think you should best discuss this with a neurosurgeon since it is largely outside my area of expertise here. Good luck!
