Question
QUESTION: My grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer in August 2008. He had extensive surgery to remove the tumour. But no subsequent treatment like chemo etc. In September of this year he was diagnosed with a rather large tumour in the Left Parietal lobe of his brain. He had an operation to remove part of the tumour, but doctors said there was nothing more that coule be done. My grandfather is in his late 70's. How long does he have left with us?

ANSWER: Unfortunately his remaining life span can probably at most be measured in some months but may be shorter. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!

QUESTION: Yeh, thats what we thought. I guess what I really want to know is, do you think he will make Christmas, or more importantly, January? We have something special happening. Thank you for your reply.

Answer
Depends among other things on how much of his tumour that was removed - and how much that remains. Of that I have no information. It is possible but I can certainly not guarantee it.
And even if he survives till then his condition may be such that he can not take part at all.
