Brain Tumors/Father sick for months

Question
Don't know if you can help.  My father in law has been sick for several months.  He had heart bypass surgery in February, Kidney cancer removed in June.  He had a fever for months that was attributed to kidney cancer.  The fever came back after kidney surgery.  Now has intermittent fever, confusion, hallucinations, couldn't walk then walking got better but not perfect, numbness in hands and feet, and pain in hands feet and hips.  We have seen every type of doctor, had tons of blood work and MRI's of brain, lumbar, cervical, thoracic spine and ct scan of brain.  No diagnosis has ever been given.  Do you think he could have a brain tumor even if not seen on MRI?  Thank You.

Answer
No, I do not think any symptom giving brain tumor can remain hidden from MRI scans. However without the possibility of doing examinations of my own I can hardly contribute to solving this true mystery.
