Question
Sir, My maternal aunt ( around 50yrs ), recently diagnosed of Brain Tumor & Doctor says more than 75% area are affected. Surgery is impossible at this stage hence Radiation & Oral Chemo therapy is going on, 3 Radiation have been given.
Now she is in ICU, not able to move, communicate, always sleeping but after Radiation for a few minutes/ Seconds opens her eyes. Kindly let me know the exact status. Could she survive ? Can radiotherapy will be fruitful ?

Answer
This does sound bad. If she has a malignant brain tumour which seems very likely her prognosis in this situation was bad from the beginning. But it is turning worse faster than expected.  The question of any usefulness of her treatment is uncertain but my advice is that it should be continued for at least some more time. Nothing else can be offered anyway.

I have some computer problems so unfortunately my reply is delayed.
