Question
my wife had breast cancer eight years ago. one and a half year ago she had a tumor that was 3 to 4 cm.the tumor was removed and she is really not the same person she was befor she had the surgery. well my question is all we can get from he cancer doctor is that she will die when it is her time, and he does not no when this is... well i am confused. i see most people die with in a year, and then some never die. so what do i do t prepair myself for this and when? there is not one i can talk to about this, i am blind and i can not go to any support meetings so i come here and read the questions sent in. so can you tell me if she will die soon or can i build her a house......

Answer
If indeed her breast cancer has spread to her brain her survival time unfortunately can be measured in months and her prognosis is very bad regardless of therapy. Radiation therapy may be of temporary benefit but that is all. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
