Hi, I have a question for you, please. I am a HUGE fan of coloring my hair, and frequently. I've been doing it for over 10 years and a couple days ago a friend of mine told me she's worried about my brain health because hair color causes tumors!! Is she correct? In the mid 1980's dangerous hair dye formulas were re-worked to make them safer and I didn't think anything really bad could come of it. Is there any truth to coloring your hair with chemical dye causing brain tumors?

The causes of brain tumors are at present completely unknown but there are at present NO reasons to suspect that hair coloring in any way plays a role in that (my wife does it all the time and I have certainly no wish that she should develop a brain tumor). Good luck!
