hi there, my problem is for the last 2 months i have been havin terible headaches.. also the left side of my skull is very sore to touch, to the point it makes my eyes water when i do and also i unable to lay on my left side. i have been to the doctors on numerous occasions and im tired of being given different painkillers now as i have told them that nothing is easing the pain. they have finally requested that i go for a c.t scan now but thats not booked in for another month. in the last two weeks, i have noticed a bump coming on my head, in the exact area where the headaches are and where it is sore to touch. this lump is now visible to others. i again went back to the doctor, and because i passed the eye tests and little tst things they do on you, he simply told me to buy the tablets, calms! i am increasingly worried about this an feel nobody is taking any notice of me. please could you have any idea as what could possibly be wrong. i am due to take my children on holiday soon and i am very worried as to what the height pressure might do..

Well, without an examination it is impossible for me to tell you what it is. BUT based on your description it is unlikely that this is a brain tumor case you are troubled with. Since you live in the UK and therefore are more or less forced to go via your G.P. it is difficult to give you good advice. Otherwise my advice would be that you let a neurologist check you to confirm that there is no brain tumor (with an MRI brain scan) and let a surgeon take care of your bump (a local infection/inflammation in your skin on your head?). But if it is possible for you to do it then follow my advice and do it! Good luck!
