Youre very ignorant. Analyzing your statements I've learned that you haven't searched or have read any other similar situations. There are many people with BRAIN LIPOMAS that have the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS. Dont comment on something you are careless about because you only sound like someone who was bored.

Thanks, Erika R.

* I have a lipoma in my brain and I am going through a lot of trouble just focusing my eyes.

My son who is not 10 also has a Lipoma in his brain, it is located in the Hypothalamus.  He started having headaches very young, one of his first words was "owie head".  They did an MRI and even though there was this Lipoma in his brain, they said it had nothing to do with his headaches..HMMM.  I learned very early on that because there is very little research about LIpomas in the brain and everyone who is going in to get MRI's because of headaches or other symptoms are told the Lipoma has nothing to do with anything then of course there is no documentation on how many people really do suffer, I knew I had to find out for myself.  I visited a neurosurgeon in CA and he told me "if there was a single strand of hair in the brain, it could cause symptoms" which I thought but kept being told it was nothing.  I got in touch with people that were being told the same exact thing and all of them had these awful, life changing headaches so take what you want from that.  I recently found a study done in France of 2 children with the exact same tumor/malformation in the exact same place and it was determined as the cause for their obesity.  So, it looks like finally maybe doctors will start taking this seriously.  That being said I do believe there is nothing that can be done except manage the symptoms that may arise.  Good Luck.

first of all youre not a neuro so automatically you are not worth reading about your thoughts on this womans problems. the fact is , a brain lipoma that is causing someone to go through severe migraines and other symptoms is a rare but important data to understanding what is really happening in the brain. this is 1 of many rare severe cases that we are just getting to know. i myself have a brain lipoma right where she has it and i go through some of the same things. so shut your fat mouth because you do not know what you are talking about , as many many doctors in hospitals dont. you pretend to know and care about your patients when all you really care for is your dirty dollar.
