My relative is suffering form brain tumor which was cancer tumor.Her stage was detected in 2004 as 3rd stage and in that 2 2nd stage by doctors. She went through a surgery for removal of that tumor but because of the place the tumor grew the doctors were unable to remove it completely. They had just removed a very little part of that tumor. She went through chemotherapy also. after these treatments she was alright till now. When she  a MRI the doctors informed that the tumor had grown and they had to start treatment again. They are giving very high dosage tablets which very costly for 2 months. Now they are little less costly high dosage tablets every ten days in a month. because of these tablets she has become very weak and so much so that she is unable to walk, talk and eat. As she not eating properly she has become very weak.She was admitted in hospital for severe stomach ache few days before. Doctors are telling nothing will happen and to continue her high dosage tablets.
But she not physically strong , very weak. Is this advisable by doctors at this stage?

what are the chances of her getting cured perfectly? will she become normal????? what else can be done for her traetment? Please provide suggestions.

Answer
If her brain tumor is malignant her chances of a cure are unfortunately nonexistent. Her treatment may prolong her survival but without knowing EXACTLY what kind of tumor she has I can not tell you by how much. Radiation therapy is also a possibility even in combination with chemotherapy. But even then no cure is possible unfortunately.
