Question
I have been suffering from severe head pain on the left side of my head running down the left side of my left side of the face/eye down neck to my shoulder. Sometimes the pain is so bad (like a migraine) and I start vomiting. I had a mri scan 18 months back after suffering similar headaches, but not as severe as the ones I have now. It was found that I had a small calcification of my spine. But nothing serious. Could this be the same problem?
This sounds like a case of migraine or maybe Horton. But there is no evidence of any brain tumour so it is outside my area of expertise here. I'm here ONLY as a cancer dr.! So I strongly suggest that you direct this question to an expert of neurology which I'm not (I'm a medical oncologist & radiation therapist with experience of treating (mainly malignant) brain tumours).
