sir My Brother srinivas had astrocytomas grade 2 he is suffering from last jan 2009
feb 2009 docters did  biyapsy ,docter said he required raditain ,imrt 4 weeks given,now we are useing madecion but his condition is same is it possible to come back
now he is speaking littele bit when he got this that time right eye also little bit damege .
docter saideye is ok
plz tell me sir astrocytomas grade 2 is cureble  or not

Answer
No malignant brain tumor is really curable. But low grade tumors like grade 1 and 2 can survive for long periods. However in what shape depends on its locatiom, size etc. Especially after surgery. To answer your question more precisely I need to know a lot more of his tumor. Please provide me with his MRI & CT scan reports and his pathology report.
Has surgery been done apart from the biopsy?
