Question
Hello Doctor,

my mother .Sarita Sud  had multiple seizures in July '07.  
In September ‘07she was diagnosed with a grade 4 GBM tumor in the right side of the brain for which she got operated In Sep'07
She has undergone radiotheraphy and till may ‘08 she underwent cheamotheraphy.  
A tumor was seen on the left side also which did not increase in size till Feb 09.
The mri done in may’09 showed a drastic growth in the tumor resulting in a hammoerage  causing  paralysis on the right side.
After this she underwent gamma knife surgery , but no positive effect is seen till now
The latest mri is attached for your ref.

We ve admitted her to the hospital for DVT in the Right Lower limb.
our doctor is suggeting another surgery. do u think it advisable

Unfortunately I can not find the MRI you mentioned that should be enclosed. I think such surgery would be very hazardous but on the other hand if nothing is done her tumor will kill her. But it is also true that it will do so anyway even if she has been alive longer than I would expect! So really I do not think there is much choice. Please do keep me posted!
