Question
My wifes brother is five years old and he was diagnosed with a brain stem glioma. He grew up with my son who is also five and we are determined to stay positive, but it seems like no one is else is positive, everybody else is giving up. But I am trying to give hope but nobody else is listening. How else can I help?

Answer
Unfortunately his prognosis with a malignant brain glioma is very bad. So a pessimistic view in this case is unfortunately just realistic. Do you have any information with regards to the GRADE of his glioma? Since its grade actually determines how bad it is. All are bad, especially with this location, but there are different levels of badness.
