Question
I began having bad headaches 21/2 years ago. They are usually in a small area and are very sharp. They move around to several locations. I had a CT scan and a MRI both of which came back normal. The headaches went away for awhile but are back. Now I am experiencing numbness and weakness in both arms and legs. Could the CT scan and MRI missed a tumor? These scans were done when I first began having the headaches. I also have neck and back pain.

Answer
If both your CT & MRI scans have been negative it is unlikely that your symptoms - which were present when your scans were made - are due to a brain tumor. Even so your symptoms are now such that I think it is best that you let a neurologist check you! Good luck!
