Question
i had a brain tumor when i was 6 it was benign and it was totally removed, i had follow up appointments until i was 12 and no sign of reoccurrence. now at 19, im 16 weeks pregnant and am having a c section done. I do get dizzy and light headed and have blackened vision at times but mainly am concerned about the c section. not having an epidural for the surgery so what other options for anesthesia are there? I'm really worried I want everything to go wonderfully.

Answer
Sorry, I'm here ONLY as a tumor/cancer dr. With regards to your anesthesia you will have to discuss that with your gynecologist/obstetrician as it is outside my area of expertise here. Most probably your symptoms have nothing to do with your previous brain tumor if it was benign. Even so you should discuss them with your gyn./ob. dr.! Good luck!
