Question

anna's mri
Cyst in thalamus. I've attached a picture of the MRI.
Thanks for any help at all, I don't understand what any of it means. I do have COPD, hypothyroid disease, hypoglycemia, degenerative spinal facets, and now they say Parkinson's. Terrible eyesight 20/400 lt and 20/200 rt.
It's not on the report, but there is also atrophy of the right cerebellum (about 1/2)

Answer
Dear Anna, I'm a medical oncologist & radiation therapist with experience of treating (mainly malignant) brain tumors but I'm not a neurosurgeon or a neurologist. This is a question for a neurosurgeon or a neurologist or maybe an endocrinologist but not for a cancer dr. which is what I am.
