Question
Hello. My mother has grade four glioblastoma astrocytoma of the brain. My mother is 44 years old and was diagnosed a little over a year ago. She went through chemotherapy and brain surgery, removing part of her tumor on the top left side of her brain. Since, her tumor has grown and she had tried 2 different clinical trials. She just had growth during the second clinical trial and is receiving a port for avastin and chemotherapy. I was just wondering if you had any other suggestions that I could possibly bring to her or her doctors attention. Please let me know what you think about her situation. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Answer
Unfortunately her prognosis is very bad regardless of treatment and apart from the addition of radiation therapy I have nothing to offer. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
