Question
Starting from the beginning. My Mother is 74 years old.2 years ago in April she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. It was treated and was put in remission. Then in April of 09 she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She had the breast removed in August.Last week she was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors. It looks like 8-10 on the MRI scan. They are scattered all through her brain.3-4 of them look to be the size of a quarter and the others are about the size of a pea or a little larger than that. They are giving her steroids and all brain radiation.I know this is to just help relieve some of her symptoms and maybe give her a little more time. But we would like to know how much time because both of my brothers work out on the gulf. Please be honest with your answer For this is something we want to know.

Answer
It is probably her breast cancer that has spread to her brain. Even with radiation therapy her survival time can probably be measured in months at most. I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
