Brain Tumors/Inoperable Brain Tumour

Question
I know a young girl aged 8 years. She suffers from a tumour in the back side of the brain. Basically, the area above the back neck. Having done an MRI< doctors have told that this part of the brain is not operbale and no surgery is ever done in this part of the brain. Doctors say that she would not live or else she would be rendered paralyized in case an attempt for a surgery is made.
Please let me know if there is any solution to this.

Answer
The explanation sounds plausible and is probably correct. How big is her tumour? If not too big stereotactic radiation therapy (by GammaKnife or CyberKnife or proton beams) may be a solution.
