Brain Tumors/Sigmoid Sinus

Question
I asked a question earlier today about my left posterio fossa meningioma.  The size is 3.5 cm.  I had an MRA/MRV done today and looking at the images, it looks like the sigmoid sinus is being obstructed.  Can you tell me how bad this is?  I am so terrified and I have to wait a couple more weeks for my appointment.  Should I insist on seeing someone sooner?  What options do I have for removal and is a stereotactic procedure effective for this type of tumor?

Answer
Is it the opinion of your doctors that there is an obstruction? There is no need to express any opinion at all until we know for sure your actual clinical situation!

A couple of more weeks is probably not too bad! It can be, but that depends on what type of meningioma we are dealing with here. Time will tell anyway. I think this can probably be taken care of in the way I have suggested, Good luck!
