Hello..my mom is a brain tumor patient, she's 61 years old now, she had undergone the operation last august,and now after 9 months..she's now in nursing care..well she hardly can see and hear..which is awful for myself n my sis..i lost my dad 2 years ago due to stomache cancer and now mom is going thru the same thing,which is unbareble..she could walk with assistant thats all..she's is very confused for the last 3 months..at themoment we she's under steroids 8mg per day which is heaps amount of tablet.the problem is when we stopped the tablet,she's become unconcious,which my sis and myself dont intend to see my beloved my in that situation..we both sis still wishes miracles does happen..does anyone faced this sort of situation...i dont know what is the future like for my mom..please help

I suppose you mean a GRADE 4 brain tumor since brain tumors usually do not have stages. Unfortunately this kind of tumor is at present incurable and eventually always fatal. Survival time - even with full treatment - is usually around one year from primary treatment (9 months ago). All high grade malignant brain tumor cases face this situation eventually unfortunately! I'm sorry I have nothing better to tell you!
