Question
I took a nap yesterday afternoon and awoke with a pain on the top of my scalp that felt like someone had kicked me (unlike any other headache pain that I have ever had). It is NOT throbbing, only sore and feels like a bruise. Advil has not helped. My neck seems to be still so I have a compress around my neck to see if some of the soreness on my head subsides. Today is day 2 and even after a good night sleep, nothing has changed. What could be causing this?
Based on your description I can only say that these are not typical brain tumor symptoms. To get further an examination is needed. So I do suggest that you let a doctor check you. Good luck!
