Question
QUESTION: Pleae help me as i sarting fearing that i have brain tumour? from last 35 days i have pain in my left eye which doesnt go away? pain is  not severe but mild? visited 2-3 opthamalogist and they didnt see any problem in my eyes? Now sometimes there is a pain in back of the my head. I am very worried pla guide. I had CT scan for an unrelated reason in July 2010 which cam as normal.

ANSWER: If a CT scan half a year ago was negative I doubt that your symptoms are related to any brain tumor. You can know with certainty by having a brain MRI scan without and with contrast. If no tumor is seen your symptoms are NOT tumor related! Good luck!

QUESTION: Thanks for the prompt reply. Well i dnt have money for MRI now but i will definately do that in some tme to come. Please tell me any onset of new symptoms in addition to existing ones which should immedately make me go to ER.

Answer
A CT scan with contrast can also be of help though not as good as an MRI scan. The symptoms of brain tumours are usually rather vague but should you experience for example a clear increase of head ache or stroke like symptoms or epileptic fits that would be clear indications that there may be a brain tumour. Good luck!
