Brain Tumors/brain tumor/AVM connection

Question
In 1980, (when I was 10) I had a benign brain tumor on the back of my head. It was removed and I had cat scans for 5 years follow-up with no reoccurrence. In 2004, at the age of 34, I had an aneurysm and was diagnosed with an AVM in the same general area. I believe it's highly possible that the two are connected. How do I figure it out? I also have recently learned of a condition called HHT and am worried about that, too.

Answer
I doubt that there is any connection. But this is somewhat outside my area of expertise here. So I strongly suggest that you discuss this with an expert of neurology (which I'm not, I'm an expert of medical oncology & radiation therapy with experience of treating brain tumors) here or elsewhere. Good luck!
