Question
My niece 19 just found out a month ago she has oligodendroglioma grade 3 anatlastic mixed astrocytoma and on the 4th April was told she has about 2 months. She has been going to Drs and they did not find it until the seizures started. Could you please tell us the best hospital for this. We tried St.Jude but they will not take her.(they are doing research but not on the brain). I have been on internet tring to find the hospital with no luck. Please help us. She has medicare for insurance. This will probably will be a factor in the care she can get. PLEASE HELP US. Terry

Answer
I'm a Swede living in Sweden so my ability to help someone in the USA with such a request is extremely limited. But M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas has a very good general reputation and so do several other centers for example Duke University Medical Center in the Carolinas I believe.
