Re: large external bump on the occipital area of head CSCAN has been ordered. Itches. Patient says it's been there 6 months or more. Worried. Patient had prostrate cancer in 2003, bladder cancer in 2007, acute renal failure in 2008. Any thoughts?
A large bump on the head that has been there for 6 months or more is hardly any brain tumor! A sebaceous cyst is FAR MORE likely - almost certain! Though tumors related to his earlier tumors are at least theoretically possible.
