Question
Hello,

I was diagnosed with breast cancer about 1 year ago. I did 8 round and chemo which shrunk the tumor to prepare me for surgery. Lately, I have been feeling very unbalanced, confused and noticed my right side is weaker. I have no headache. I did a cat scan and they  noticed I do have some swelling in the brain.  I hope it is not a brain tumor. Can cancer grow in another place during chemo?

Answer
It is possible, though not usual. It could also have spread before diagnosis or after chemo therapy. In your case though so far no new tumor has yet been found. But due to your symptoms I think both an MRI scan and a PET scan of you brain should be done.
