Question
My friend has taken ill whilst working in Boston. They have told him that he has a grade G tumor close to his ear and that he has had it for a while as it has calcified. His family and friends are all based in Scotland and are finding it difficult to understand everything that has happened.
Please can you explain what a Grade G tumor is and if the fact that it has calcified will make treatment worse.

Answer
There is NO SUCH thing as a grade G tumor! So there must be some mistake or misunderstanding here! Calcified tumors are mostly not dangerous if the calcification is more or less total. However since the description here is so vague I can not give you any real evaluation. Please clarify!
