Question
Hi, Over the past few months I have been experiencing dizzy spells and a feeling that I am going to either fall or pass out.  My eyesight is worse and I also cant concentrate.  I asked the doctor if this could be related to a brain tumour and after checking my eyes said no.  However, over the past week I have had a slight pain in my head up the top right hand side.  It doesnt ache, its just uncomfortable and feels as if there is a weight there.  I also have a slight raised part on my skull at this same bit.  Should I ask for a brain scan?

Answer
The symptoms you describe are hardly indicating a brain tumour with any certainty, but since this worries you and it will probably be hard for you to get rid of your worries I think you should ask for a CT or MRI brain scan (MRI is best)! Good luck!
