Question
hi, does a recurrent tumor mean, the cancer is spreading? or when treated with gamma knife they missed a little piece of it? all info is apprecated, thanks debbie
Both alternatives are possible - even at the same time! If a malignant tumor has spread to anywhere it is also very probable that it has spread elsewhere too! The other alternative too is obviously possible. What exactly it is in this case I can not tell unfortunately.
